I am a poet, writer, author, podcaster and tech journalist for Forbes. I write with an insistent female voice and I love to tell stories about that connect with our human experiences - messiness and all. I was born in San Antonio, Texas, raised in Georgia and lived for more than a decade in Europe before settling back in the US in Dallas, Texas by way of Brooklyn. I live in Kessler Park in a 100 year old house with a French garden, bees and my beagle Gigi Beatrice and Calliope the parcour-ing cat.

My first book, Love, Lust, Longing and Truth was published in 2017. This debut work of poetry is a candid and raw expression of triumphs and setbacks we all experience in love, lust, longing and truth. My second book, Deluge in a paper cup is 15 story poems in 27 pages that touch on the vulnerability and folly of life.

My Medium page and work is dedicated to my beagle Henry and my two exstitental cats who were with me on every journey through the most pivotal times in my life. They are always in my heart.
